Welcome to Design shed!

Welcome to your Design shed! Release your best ideas here, and make it real!

What is Design shed?

Design shed is our design service for companies, schools, events, and more. If you for example have a idea for a booklet you need for your event, and you need it designed, you can ask us. We will make it, and if you request, immediately get it printed with our provider. The designs we make are high quality, eye-catching and cheap. If you want to learn more about our style of design, see our portifolio or something else, feel free to scroll further down!

Our style of designs:

The style we use depends on your type of project and what you prefer. But we are best for designs that require a professional, sleek, modern or minimalistic design. But any style is possible. You say it.

How we charge you:

We charge you by hour spent. When we recieve your request for a design job, we review what kind of design it is, what the style is, how much elements it requires and (if relevant) how much pages it is made of. Then, we make a estimate of the hours it will take to make the design. That is the amount we will charge you, so you do not have to worry about “it took longer.” suprises. So even if it takes longer than the estimated hours, you will not have to pay more. The formula we use for calculating the hour cost: Estimated hours X Cost of design type per hour.

Printing the design:

You can choose for the option that we also print your design with our provider. We only do this after you approved the design. When we get the package with the printed copies, we do a quality check, to ensure everything is correctly printed, there is no damage and that the right amount of co. (This does not include spelling errors or design faults) That is why the package you recieve with your printed copies has been opened. The printed copies are non-refundable, as you approved the design before printing. We are open for feedback so we can get better for the next time.

What is the estimated waiting time?

The time you have to wait before your design job gets accepted depends on how busy we are. This can be from a day wait up to a month. We do communicate on this website (samevers.nl) how busy we are, and the estimated wait time. The time you have to wait for you design to finish depends on how big your project is, and what priority you selected. (Read more about priorities in the next paragraph) We do communicate this and give you updates about the estimated finishing time. If you selected the option to also print your design, we are not in control over the printing times from our provider.

Priorities:

If your design is time-sensitive, you can select the option P1. This ensures that your design job stands out from the other requests, and if you selected printing, we use the priority printing with your provider. When your design job is accepted, we do our best to ensure that your design gets completed as soon as possible. This does include a extra fee of 30% on top of your total design cost, with €2,50 priority startup cost. If you want your design in a normal time, and you need it in about 2 weeks or later, you can select the P2 option. This is the normal priority. There is no extra fee included for this option.

Shipping:

If you live inside of Voorthuizen, Netherlands, then we can deliver most packages by bike to your address. This makes the shipping fee way smaller, shrinking it down to €0,50 up to €1,00. If you live outside of Voorthuizen, we will ship your package via a post service. You will have to pay the shipping fee for this. You will recieve a track-and-trace code via mail.
